    New Publication
    "Gender-Competent Legal Education" is published as the first textbook of its kind
    The textbook “Gender-Competent Legal Education”, co-edited and partly co-authored by Prof. Dr. Thomas Giegerich and Dr. Mareike Fröhlich together with Prof. Dr. Dragica Vujadinovic from the University of Belgrade, has just been published by Springer Publishers in the series “Springer Textbooks in Law”. Julia Jungfleisch was Assistant Editor.

    Within the framework of the international research project "INVESTinADR" led by Prof. Dr. Marc Bungenberg LL.M., the 2nd workshop took place in Paris on November 16 and 17, 2022, attended by five scholars from the partner Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law in Skopje and four scholars from Saarland University.

    “Innovative Teaching Methods in Legal Education”
    From 18 to 25 September 2022 lecturers (assistants and also professors) of the partner universities within the MELE project met for the LTT3 meeting “Innovative Teaching Methods in Legal Education” in Jerez, hosted by the Faculty of Law of the University of Cádiz in Spain. The meeting was intended to present the results of the 4 working groups within the Intellectual Output 3 (I03), which deals with the “METHOD TOOL BOX for teaching skills in legal education”, to the participants.

    Summer School "ED4ELE Equality and diversity in European legal education"
    The Summer School took place at the Faculty of Law, University of Split from 04 until 10 September 2022. It was organized within the framework of the project "ED4ELE Equality and diversity in European legal education" of the SEELS network faculties, the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law (Slovenija) and the Europa-Institut of SaarlandUniversity (Germany) and is financially supported by the DAAD and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

    European Summer Course 2022
    This year's ESC with the title "Visions4aNewEurope" with almost 40 participants from 21 nations finally took place again this year on site at the European Academy Otzenhausen. The ESC is aimed at young, active and open-minded students interested in the European Union and its current challenges and is organized by the Europa-Institut in cooperation with the European Academy Otzenhausen (EAO) and the ASKO Europa-Stiftung and financially supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds from the German Federal Foreign Office.
